On October 17, Helena Lehečková was honored with the prestigious Gratias Agit Award by the Czech Republic’s Foreign Minister, Jan Lipavský. The ceremony took place at the Czernin Palace in Prague. The award is presented annually to ten distinguished individuals and two organizations that have significantly contributed to promoting the good name of Czechia abroad. Helena Lehečková, a PhD holder, is a university lecturer in Czech language at the University of Helsinki and a member of the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters. Warmest congratulations to Helena!
