Members of the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters can apply for travel grants continuously throughout the year. A free-form application, including a preliminary budget in table form, is sent by email to the office societas@scientiarum.fi well in advance of the travel. Grants are not awarded retroactively. The Board of the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters decides on the application at its monthly meetings during the semesters.
After the meeting, the decision will be sent to the applicant by email. The travel grant is paid after the trip against the travel report and receipts, which are sent by email to the office. The report may be freely formulated but should contain an account of the use of the funds in table form.
