Crafted by Hiroshi Iwahara in 2018, the RF-60 Visible 3-Ary Drawer Puzzle box stands at 79 x 87 x 75 mm, offering a storage space of 70 x 44 x 17 mm. Inspired by the Karakuri Puzzle Party in Hakone, this work explores the possibility of creating clear designs like Binary or Ternary. With just three drawers, it's the minimum needed to fully enjoy the system. Upon solving, the bottom drawer can be opened, utilizing the RF-38 'Canon Chest' mechanism. This ternary drawer requires 18 moves to open, and once all three drawers are open, the bottom one can be accessed.
