The application period for the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters’ grants and research funding runs from 1 to 31 January 2026<\/strong>. Applications are submitted via the electronic application system.<\/strong><\/a> The application deadline is 31 January at 23:59<\/strong> (Finnish time).<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Funding is available in all academic fields except mathematics, physics, astronomy, and chemistry, including medicinal chemistry. Applications in these fields should instead be directed to the Magnus Ehrnrooth Foundation<\/a>, which has the same application period.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Applicants may apply either for a personal grant, which is paid directly to the recipient\u2019s bank account, or for research funding administered by a university or research institute. When logging into the electronic application system, applicants must create an applicant profile either as an individual or\u00a0on behalf of an organisation.<\/p>\n\n
